Project Details
Fred Smith Company delivered the site and infrastructure work supporting Pinehurst No. 10, the resort’s first new golf course in nearly three decades. Working with general contractor CT Wilson and the Pinehurst Resort team, our crews helped prepare more than 30 acres for the course and its supporting facilities.
The original one-year schedule was accelerated to meet an April 3, 2024, opening ahead of the 2024 U.S. Open. Fred Smith Company brought together surveying, utility, grading, and paving teams to manage the compressed timeline and respond to design changes throughout construction.
Close coordination among Fred Smith Company, CT Wilson, and Pinehurst Resort kept the work moving and allowed the project to meet its revised deadline. The result reflects what experienced teams can accomplish through careful planning, clear communication, and a shared commitment to the work.
