Fred Smith Company served as prime contractor for Carpenter Fire Station Road Park, managing construction from initial site preparation through buildings, landscaping, recreational amenities, and final paving.
The 20.8-acre park includes youth athletic fields, a dog park, a multipurpose court, shelters, restrooms, fitness areas, and paved trails connecting to the Panther Creek Greenway. Construction required extensive clearing, grading, and earthmoving, along with retaining walls, concrete work, asphalt paving, and the installation of storm drainage, water, and sewer infrastructure.
By coordinating the major phases of construction, Fred Smith Company helped transform a wooded site into an accessible community park with opportunities for recreation, exercise, gathering, and time outdoors.
