Fred Smith Company is currently preparing a site in southwest Durham that was previously a series of 48 tobacco warehouses dating back to the 1930’s. When complete, the site will house a 410000 square foot warehouse with infrastructure for both the new warehouse and 2 future warehouses. Fred Smith Company is building 6 segmental retaining walls, 10000 LF of storm drain, 3000 LF of sewer, 8000 LF of waterline and moving over 400000 CY of dirt.
