Fred Smith Company recently completed a comprehensive resurfacing project on the historic Glenwood Avenue in Raleigh, North Carolina. Spanning 8.2 miles, this project underscores our ongoing commitment to improving infrastructure and ensuring safer, smoother roads for the Raleigh community.

The resurfacing initiative primarily focused on milling and filling deteriorating asphalt along Glenwood Avenue from Interstate 540 to Interstate 440. This extensive effort involved laying down 40,000 tons of fresh asphalt on both sides of the roadway to maintain the road’s functionality and safety.
