Fred Smith Company proudly announces that it will rebuild a primary connection within Martin County, North Carolina. The nine-mile stretch along Prison Camp Road through East College Road will include several improvements that will significantly improve the experience for the traveling public.
“We are excited to deliver excellence while improving the safety and infrastructure along Prison Camp Road,” said Jeff Allen, Vice President Eastern Division. He added that the company is honored to partner with NCDOT in enhancing transportation demands throughout Eastern North Carolina!
This construction project will include widened lanes, shoulders, and turn lanes, improved drainage, and updated lighting and signage outside the new pavement. These improvements will enhance safety for motorists and pedestrians, improve traffic flow, and reduce maintenance costs.
